A motorhome built to a customer's design. It has a large, strengthened, rear garage large enough to store two competition motorcycles, tools and spares. A customer's Mercedes van CONVERTED into an attractive motorhome. The external shell of a motorhome fitted to a customer's Iveco chasis. The customer's specification was that he wanted to finish the interior himself, hence the windows have not been cut/fitted. Aycliffe Coachworks added this living area to a customer's horsebox

Case study A: A Motorhome with a large, strengthened garage.

The following motorhome was designed and built to the customer's specification. The main reason for the bespoke design was that the customer's son competed in motor cross competitions in different parts of Europe and a large garage was required to house 2 competition motor cycles and tools.

This was his second motorhome built by Aycliffe Coachworks and he has now returned for a third. He is quoted as saying "You can visit and see the home being built, and you just know it is right and that nothing is going to go wrong. I have never had anything go wrong with my first two"

Case study B: A Mercedes Van converted into a motorhome.

The customer brought a Mercedes transit van to Aycliffe Coachworks for it to be converted into a motorhome. The completed motorhome shown below was designed to the customer's requirements and specification.

As seen in the photographs, a stylish motorhome was created with windows being fitted to the side door and to the rear section and quality materials being used inside to maximize every square inch of space.

Finally, a 'wind out' sun canopy and customised paint work provided an attractive motorhome.

Case study C: The basic frame of a large Motorhome with a strengthened garage.

The customer bought an 'Iveco' chassis, similar to the one shown below (not same model), and asked Aycliffe Coachworks to build 'a basic frame of a motorhome' on it. With the exception of the doors, the customer wanted it leaving without windows so that he could complete the inside design himself.

As with Case Study 'A', a large strengthened garage was required at the rear to accommodate motorcycles and double doors for easy access.

Case study D: Living quarters built into a horse box

The customer already had a motor horse box that was solely used to transport horses to and from races and shows. The requirement was for Aycliffe Coachworks to build living accommodation inside the van to the customer's design and specification.

The finished living accommodation is shown below. Unfortunately, there are no external photographs of the horsebox.
